1. Scope
This policy explains how Wakey handles personal data when you use this website. We handle personal data in accordance with Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
2. Information we process
The website currently has no accounts, payments or submission forms. Our servers and service providers may process ordinary technical data such as IP address, browser, device, request time and error logs. If you choose the location feature, your browser asks for permission; we do not add your precise location to our store database.
3. Why we use information
Information is used only to deliver and secure the website, display the store map, respond to enquiries, diagnose problems and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage to remember your cookie preference. With your permission, we load the interactive Mapbox map. Mapbox may receive technical data and use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. We do not currently use advertising or website analytics cookies. You can revisit your choice through “Cookie settings”.
5. Providers and international processing
We use Vercel to host the website and Mapbox to provide maps. Information may be processed outside Hong Kong. Each provider also handles data under its own privacy terms.
6. Retention and security
Information is retained only as long as needed to provide and protect the service or meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission is completely secure.
7. Your rights
You may request access to or correction of personal data we hold and raise privacy questions. Requests may be subject to legal exceptions and reasonable administrative requirements.
